@red storm The map came out wrong because you likely didn't put the image on RGB mode before converting the colours to the ones in the colour palette provided

It was likely still in indexed mode, which meant that the colours you see in the raw image is not exactly the same as the ones in the colour palette

hey how do, I posted earlier about "Remastering" a mobile map onto PC. It took a few hours but I finally got it. Callocha is a world I made on mobile its a 7x7 and I remade it today with the image to map program and got it to 20x21 I think. Let me know if you want me to share it, its pretty neat, i'm happy with it. (Mobile First then Remaster)

I'm just going to say this because I haven't seen anyone else say this please use low diffusion when indexing the colors of the image you are converter (1% - 5%)

it makes it easier to edit the image if anything looks off and it makes the map look better in general

I have no idea how i am figuring this out now but i was told that more than a month ago a youtuber with nearly 2 million subscribers made a video on worldbox using all my maps that i had made

Image To Map converter. It converts your image to a map. I added a thing that shows the size of your map. Full credit goes to @narrow sinew for making the script. I do not partake in any ownership whatsoever for the script. This script is 100% owned by @narrow sinew , not me. @narrow sinew and I are not responsible for any unwanted imagery being posted in the server using the converter.

First, extract the folder.

Run the executable file, ImageToMap.exe and choose an image. It will convert the image into a map. The size depends on how big the Image is but I made it so it tells you how big the map is. It will rename the .json file to map.json instead of something like preview.png.json. It needs to be named map.json in order to work so the process will be SO MUCH easier and simpler for people to use!

It's recommended to stay on lower sized maps depending on your device's RAM.

Here is a table showing the square sizes:

50p x 50p = 1x1
100p x 100p = 2x2 | 150p x 150p = 3x3
200p x 200p = 4x4 | 250p x 250p = 5x5
300p x 300p = 6x6 | 350p x 350p = 7x7

The program shows sizes from 1x20 to 20x1. It shows every size sequence—All sizes—a world can be made.
Only will automatically rename if OS is Windows.
