The whole concept was for the north to be just a big Archipelago, not a few small continents

(The lore is that The Elves used The Magical Lake in the middle to perform a ritual/spell, that went wrong and kaboomed the whole northern continent, splitting it into many pieces, thats why theres a "spinning" sea in the middle)

OK so basically go inside the app, and look for a file name "machkpenko worldbox" (not exactly this but something similar to this

Before going further, you have made at least 1 save in the game right?

If not, do so(noting fancy or complicated just save any world you want in the save slots) but if you already have, after you find the worldbox file in z archiver, go inside it

Then you will see a lot of folders, choose the one that says "saves" not the one that says "auto saves"

After that if let's say you saved your world on save slot 1 earlier you will see a folder named "save1" go inside it, delete it's contents and replace it with any "map. Wbox" file you want(note that whatever the name of the map you download, you should always rename it to "map.wbox" most maps are already like that but some aren't, anyways)

Just go back to the game and load up save slot 1, boom congrats you just made your first custom map run in worldbox

If you want more worlds, save some more other random worlds in the game to save slots 2,3,4 and so on, just go to z archiver delete the contents of the saves, replace it with the worldbox downloaded map, and run it

In my opinion you can temporarily use the old 0.14 update world gen, and then switch your version back to 0.50

I can't say 100% that it'll work flawlessly

So my original canvas was 2000 x 1200 and I changed it to 2048 × 1216 and converted it with the map convertor to a map of 20x12 and it's still generating transition zones between the hard biome borders.

Map making is mostly just fidgeting with everything for slightly better results. Just keep playing with the forests and coasts and see what you like.

I'd consider it kinda like sculpting, you make a rough shape and from there chisel it down and add to it to make a more interesting shape to look at.

Ok so last night I was working on it apparently here's what happens

the maps I make have correct color palettes for each biome and structure, but for some reason when I save them they get anti-aliased (blurry) instead of being crisp pixels (non antialiased) and its a problem with editing softwares like paint.net and even Microsoft Paint

apparently this causes confusion for map converter which can't understand to differentiate and so instead of the walls it creates different biomes like the swamp biome etc. instead of walls

Otherwise, if you only have your iOS device, it's impossible to install maps on iOS because the operating system refuses to give you access to the game files that you'd need to insert the map into.

You can use discord's search function to find what you need in #🌐map-downloads or #🌐✔cool-maps!

1. (If on mobile) be in #🌐map-downloads channel
2. Tap on the search icon in top right corner of screen

• If non mobile user type in:map-downloads and then click on #🌐map-downloads

3. Type in the keyword of map you want to search for in the search bar, and press enter.

• Example: typing earth into the search bar will bring up earth maps.

AD has less trees, mimicking a real desert
While sand will just gradually become a cactus jungle :P
