if its bigger then like 80x80 just try something smaller theres like no benefit to playing on a map that big

other then that upgrading your computer is an obvious answer to help
lots and LOTS of ram is preferable and a really good cpu is also suggested (probably want to have some kind of gpu in there as well but worldbox needs cpu's and ram a lot more.)
something worth noting is that worldbox is singlethreaded if my memory serves correct; which means if you have a multithreaded cpu thats good at multithreaded tasks but bad at singlethreaded ones then that may be your biggest issue.
you could close background processes to free up some cpu (very little cpu will be redirected though) and memory, but the gain from this will be minor unless your memory is constantly at like 80% or something.
Last thing I can think of to help is limiting the worlds population; this will save some cpu and memory stress

true, as ones like "the pie" aren't in worlds, and the steam worksop ones also are seperate... but for the world ones, I have a design (and am slowly working on it) for a map that does just that, in theory (In practice? that's a different story

Have a map with the requriments for The Hell (66.6% infernal, 66 demons). Have acid geysers that are spread all over, converting it into wasteland. Meanwhile, another area contains plains for "touch the grass". An isolated chamber has 1 demon that, by useing map conversion, has the reqrirments for "The Demon". Same for "The Crippled". For "The King Of Kings", include the traits necessary for "the acompolished". (And every other trait, so you can get all traits by just moveing your cursor, except for achivment locked ones, which this map does)

Make 10 kingdoms that you use spite on one of them, granting "world war" (in theory, if loaded, it should imediatly grant said achivement). give Plaque to all creatures you can.

one of the parts I can't fully figure out is how to do the one that needs the Jungle as well, since the acid geysers will destroy those... but I have a few concepts

it's set to "Age of Tears", so you just need to spawn a bunch of tornadoes, and manipulate 2 of them to gain all 3 of those achievments (unless haveing them at that size initially grants it instantly for a user)

(I forgot some of my other concepts, but I basically have conceptually covered them all)

as most computers are either 8, 16, 32, or 64, (and I think now 128) bit, and the overflow at the integer limit 2^x (and x is those values, which are all multiples of 2), that value is higher than the 16 bit integer limit, so that means (based on my knowledge of computers, which is incomplete. But, the math checks out, so... ) it must be the 32 bit integer limit. Which is: 4,294,967,296!

to be fair, like I said, I am not the most knowledgeable when it comes to this stuff, so... don't take it as 100% fact. It has a good chance of being acurate, but if you want certainty, double check

How to access the worldbox data folder on android 11 to 13.
If steps below don't work or android 14+ use these alternative methods :

1. Download a third-party application like "File Manager" from google play,
2. Now go to your phone’s "settings" application, after that find/search an factory system application called "Files" (has a darker blue background with a big white folder in the center of the icon), then click it,
3. you will be showed the "app info" screen after clicked the "Files" application, find the three dots button,
4. After you see the three dots button, click the three dots button and then if it has an "uninstall updates" option there, make sure to choose the option (wait until the uninstalling process is done and completed to avoid a mistake),
5. Now open the third-party application (File Manager) and allow it to manage files,
6. Find the "Android" folder and open it, then open the data folder,
7. You'll see some popup, touch "ok"/"yes" and also touch the "use this folder" button at bottom without opening any files that are showing,

probably the best you can do is fixing the coasts and rivers here and there

Make sure the image you're using has dimensions multiples of 64 or just make it use_only_plain_soil

when the image is not a multiple of ,64 it will get resized and cause linear interpolation to happen

creating more colors

some of which are closer to the crystal biome than water

tho guess doesn't matter if those colors were already present in the original image to begin with

If you expect good maps from a non prepared image

expect to have to do some work in game to fix it up

I don't think there's any mods for doing so, but you can use the ~expand command in #🔁map-conversion to increase the size of an existing map.

The contents of your world will remain untouched, it just adds ocean to the new space.

As for Kashmir I don’t know and don’t feel like I can have an opinion. It seems to be an Indian occupied territory that would prefer to be part of Pakistan instead but really wants to be independent. Based off what I’ve barely researched I’d say it should probably be its own kingdom on the map.

Regarding Kashmir... I have not researched this topic. On most of the maps I've looked at, this territory belongs to Pakistan. I'll read more about it later... In any case, this is still an early version of the map and there will be a lot of changes in the end...

im trying to load into a map i got from this server, but every time i try it just stop in the loading screen and after a while say that the game wont answer or work. im not finding problems with other normal maps.
