Pretty sure a couple of these are incorrect. When testing in-game the sizes recorded on the wiki seem to be accurate ||(I'm the one who added the sizes on wiki so I'm to blame if they are wrong jsyk)||. You can find them in the info boxes on the buildings' respective pages.

Temples when testing are complete 5x4 (LxH) rectangle, Town Halls are a 7x5 full rectangle and Campfires are 5x3. Everything else seems correct.

the image to map mod will fail if the picture that you want to be a map doesn't match the chunks

Like if it's 20x15 it should be 20×64=1280 & 15×64=960 so that would be 1280 width and 960 height. The picture must be fixed in pixels, n×64=(amount of pixels) then if the picture you want to be a map doesn't have a fixed pixel, you should change the size of it.

then edit the resulting map.json so worldtime is 0

then post that in #🔁map-conversion with ~encode command

download and put map.wbox back in saves

5. Now open the third-party application (File Manager) and allow it to manage files,
6. Find the "Android" folder and open it, then open the data folder,
7. You'll see some popup, touch "ok"/"yes" and also touch the "use this folder" button at bottom without opening any files that are showing,

You should turn off any anti-aliasing options in your graphic editor and use only strict colors from palette without gradients. The reason why some sandy shores may be interpreted by converter as crystals is because the gradient between sand and light water is similar to color code of crystals

How to access the worldbox data folder on android 11 to 13.
If steps below don't work or android 14+ use these alternative methods :

2. Now go to your phone’s "settings" application, after that find/search an factory system application called "Files" (has a darker blue background with a big white folder in the center of the icon), then click it,
3. you will be showed the "app info" screen after clicked the "Files" application, find the three dots button,
4. After you see the three dots button, click the three dots button and then if it has an "uninstall updates" option there, make sure to choose the option (wait until the uninstalling process is done and completed to avoid a mistake),
5. Now open the third-party application (File Manager) and allow it to manage files,
6. Find the "Android" folder and open it, then open the data folder,
7. You'll see some popup, touch "ok"/"yes" and also touch the "use this folder" button at bottom without opening any files that are showing,
8. If you have succeeded, the app will now have access to android file and can enter the saves folder in "com.mkarpenko.worldbox" folder.

yes, there are tutorials for this.

1. Download a map from #🌐✔cool-maps #🌐map-downloads, save it on your phone in downloads or somewhere you remember where it was and copy the file, you will need to paste it in another folder in the next steps.
2. You need to access the worldbox game data on your android phone and find this folder (i use a third party file explorer google app):
   Android/data/com.mkarpenko/saves
3. Now you need to chose which save file you want to overwrite, take save 1 for example and open it, paste the map.wbox you downloaded from discord
4. Open your game and open the save file you pasted the map into

this map has rivers. A bit large, but not too bad. Probably my all time favorite map. Boats will travel the rivers, some can have docks built in them, but not all

Units can’t cross over mountains but they can cross over hills.

Hills slow units down when they walk on them. Usually people use the hills around mountains to give a sense of a natural increase in height.

Maxim made a map which had a size of 1000x1000, only requiring 4GB of ram since the game was on its early stages and had barely any features
the map was the map of the earth, you can get it by dming him
