I mean, As far as I searched, Zarchiver is required to download maps for Android. It is necessary to download the file and paste it to the old file, but paste is no longer possible

All you need to do is download the .wbox file and move it to the Worldbox save folder in your Android device

You wouldn't need an archive extractor since you're not downloading an archive file

That's the thing everybody has different methods

Some use real life height maps and geography

Some use almost a cartoon like design

And some don't even use mountains 💀

Just gotta find what works for you

First off, plate tectonics. The reason why some places have lakes is the same reason why another place has mountains, I recommend looking at how that works first. I myself start making maps on an editing program so I often use greyscale height maps from which I can easily make my mountains either with the magic tool or just using my fingers for even more detail

Here's a random mountain range in Spain, the lightest part is of course the tallest those are the mountain peaks (red line) you'll often want those to be snowed mountains ingame.
The yellow line around the mountain range shows the basic borders, the rest outside of this doesn't matter.
The purple shows the basic outline of some parts of the range, this is the hills ingame, and then the orange shows the outline of the mountain tiles ingame

You can also be creative and use clothes or bed sheets as a tool, the way cloth folds and creases is pretty similair to how real mountain ranges are

Here's a small mountain range I just made ingame, I started with the mountain tiles (spine of the mountain), just a line with a curve , I then added the basic hill tiles around it. After that I added some protruding sections of hills which are basically their own little ranges, think of it like a tree branch

If you want to make a huge mountain range I recommend making a bunch of these medium-small ranges, it looks much better than one huge line
