• The person initiating the plot must have above 8 intelligence and above 2 of every civil stat (diplomacy, warfare, administration)
• The unit's kingdom has more than 1 city
• The culture/language/religion has 1000+ followers
• Culture/language/religion is 500+ years old
• Culture/language/religion is the official one of the kingdom
• Culture does NOT have the "legacy keepers" trait
• Kingdom that the culture/language/religion was founded in isn't the same as the initiator unit's kingdom
• Clan that the culture/language/religion was founded by isn't the same as the initiator unit's clan
• The unit is at least level 5

For language and religion:

• Initiator unit has either the ambitious trait, or the inspired status

As you can see, there are a lot of things to check off.

2. Tap on the search icon in top right corner of screen

The most common mistake I've seen is having the map file be anything other than map.wbox

Which will cause it to not load

or the save folder is capitalized or something

you can skip the discovery stuff with forbidden knowledge

5. Rename that folder to save1 or any other valid number.

How to download maps on iOS

1. Download map.wbox file
2. Press Open in... then save to files
3. Select the worldbox folder then the saves folder
4. Press the 3 dots button next to save and create new folder
5. Rename that folder to save1 or any other valid number.
6. Open that folder and press save.

You need a species to ascend using the rite of ascension

You can get a species to ascend by using the plot

Not sure how to unlock it but here are the requirements:

Is a king and clan chief (with ≥5 intelligence, ≥2 of other civil stats, and the Evil trait)
Has a clan and religion with Rite of Change trait
Clan does not have the Mark of Becoming trait (is given after the clan chief uses the Rite of Ascension)
Subspecies does not have the Pure trait
Kingdom population is at least 500
Cancels if the initiator unit leaves their clan

@main mesa the macbook pros (M1+) can safely handle at up to ~70,000 population given that it has 16GB of ram on the old version, which might roughly translate to ~50,000-60,000 on the new version and probably under ~20,000-40,000 on 8GB variants.
Keep in mind that it'll be quite laggy and populations such as 20,000 or under will run much better than 100,000.
