hey so how do i get animals to evolve into their humanoid forms. i spam monoliths over the map and the animals get sentience to make civilizations, but only some seem to evolve, while others stay animal form for thousands of ingame years.

you could enable forbidden knowledge

it’s not guaranteed to turn creatures into their sapient forms and some don’t have a sapient form

if a subspecies doesn’t become sapient the first time they’re influenced by the monolith, then that specific subspecies cannot become sapient because their subspecies will gain the ‘uplifted’ trait

if you want to turn a specific species of animal sapient and it fails the first time, you’ll need to kill the uplifted subspecies off and spawn a new subspecies to try again

Any subspecies marked as pure, won't be able to evolve.

Some animals just don't have an evolved form, but you can still edit them to build civilizations.

Otherwise, if you only have your iOS device, it's impossible to install maps on iOS because the operating system refuses to give you access to the game files that you'd need to insert the map into.

I can tell you what achievements be impossible or pretty hard / need map download to get as non premium tho

Can't have too many (may be possible with mao download depending on trigger?)
Ancient War of Geometry and Evil (possible via mutant box though hella tedious. Have to keep placing new subspecies down til kingdom is made).
Zoo (easiest with map download tho theoretically possible to get rite of ascension to unlock each humanoid in the first place).
Swarm (impossible cause need subspecies trait editor to trigger it)
Engineered evolution, simply stupid genetics, live fast die young, long living, flawless wings (all impossible cause need gene editor)
succession (impossible cause needs to modify culture trait)
Clone wars (need repeated language from angle civ. Theoretically possible to happen via mutant box)
Gotta find most of em (easiest with map download same situation as zoo pretty much)
Revelation of the void (premium locked)

oh yeah and basically anything that has to do with culture/language/clan/religion traits that are from humanoid animal species or stuff that isn't normally sentient. Is gonna be hella hard cause from what I've tested was only able to get at most 1 additional brain trait

so for the animals with 0 brain traits... yeah gl getting em to builda civ and capable of having religion language or culture

How to access the worldbox data folder on android 11 to 13.
If steps below don't work or android 14+ use these alternative methods :

1. Download a third-party application like "File Manager" from google play,
2. Now go to your phone’s "settings" application, after that find/search an factory system application called "Files" (has a darker blue background with a big white folder in the center of the icon), then click it,
3. you will be showed the "app info" screen after clicked the "Files" application, find the three dots button,
4. After you see the three dots button, click the three dots button and then if it has an "uninstall updates" option there, make sure to choose the option (wait until the uninstalling process is done and completed to avoid a mistake),
5. Now open the third-party application (File Manager) and allow it to manage files,
6. Find the "Android" folder and open it, then open the data folder,
7. You'll see some popup, touch "ok"/"yes" and also touch the "use this folder" button at bottom without opening any files that are showing,
8. If you have succeeded, the app will now have access to android file and can enter the saves folder in "com.mkarpenko.worldbox" folder.

Ok i got a problem

Once i enter the files app, go in Android and then on "OBB", worldbox folder appears, but when i want to copy the .wbox Map, the obb file wont appear, instead only "media", where WB folder isn't

u have to copy the wbox file and paste it in Worldbox data save folder

Sadly the only thing u can increase is the map name size which you can find in the settings > interface/ui

Somehow my slimes arents hostile for my world.
Its not that bad of an issue, but i feel like i will encounter similar issues again.

Some monsters dont even fight back when attacked. Which can make sense for some passive mobs when they are in the wild. Not so much when they have technically claws, like cats, or when they build up a civilization and even have weaponry given to them.

force stop the worldbox app then open it and try to load the save again

This is how I import maps. It might help.

Long press the chosen map that you'll import > either cut or copy it, your choice > exit the downloads folder > find the android folder > select data > select com.mkarpenko.worldbox > select files > select saves > then choose which slot u want > paste the map, make sure the old map is replaced and the name of the new map doesn't have any (1),(2), in it > exit ur file manager > make sure to close worldbox, then open it > after worldbox finishes loading, click settings > saves > choose the slot you pasted the map in > load > then save

Yup it will overwrite the map that's currently saved on the slot you chose. But I suggest just generating a random map in worldbox then save it, then that slot is where you import the map you want

actually u can just create a save folder and paste the wbox map in it and u should be able to load the save in wb, though maybe it won't work for everyone but it works for me
