I would also modify the human cultures so they don't have the perfect alignment trait. They make those straight roads otherwise

Oh and you can make a bridge between Africa and Asia while still allowing boats to pass with a diagonal tile

287 years later, that elf became a king. Nobody else in his kingdom follows his religion, but I made sure all the way back that the new elven colonies where he was campaigning got some kids with that religion. There's now 500 of them far away from the elven heartlands. That religion had demon summoning and I let them keep it and removed the elvish grass stuff to make it more thematic.

Their culture has the most famous person become heir, but I'm not sure if I did anything to give him more renown

He did do some demon summoning during a war maybe a 100 years ago. Maybe that plot gives more renown than the basic tangling and ent summons that the other elvish leaders were doing?

Either way I gave him a new name

He has two kids with his kingdom and 5 kids who were the original preachers for the religion in the colonies. He maybe had more who died to the war (I wish that info was here, even if just as text)

It’s strange how certain metas take over others. The religions seem to stay relatively within the borders of their empires of origin, but the human culture seemed to take over the elves but were resisted by the xenophobic giants. However, despite their weak culture, the elven language became the primary language of the world.

The giants language didn’t even survive, with no living members and all of their books burned during war.

At first glance the bigger empire looks like it has the obvious advantage, but since a third of their kingdom is on a separate continent, by the time that the majority of the empire’s armies have mobilized the other empires will have already laid siege to the colonies on multiple fronts.

Even when the main fleets do mobilize, it’s much more difficult for them to land on the shores of the eastern continent. Their boats will likely be picked off by towers lining the shore and the soldiers will either drown or face a “Beaches of Normandy” situation as they swim for dry land.

I actually removed that trait from their birth trait list because of how OP it was, but they’re still pretty powerful because even though their lifespans are much shorter than the elves or humans, they have a lot more health, armor, and strength.

The main threat to the elves is actually disease. I’ve had to save scum a few times because they get randomly decimated by a plague.

The piranhas are have grouped themselves up as these families, moving in one. They're all freshly spawned so they aren't actually related to each other, but each of them joined a family and went off in the same direction. There's another one much further away.
I kinda ignored families for a while but this is interesting

I have the family arrows turned on in the noosphere options, which helped me realize this was happening because the piranhas moving as one were all linked

I can explain, I recently found out how myself 😔

Spawn a unit that has genetic mirror(Plague doctor works fine, or you can give genetic mirror to a subspecies) and either wait til they form a kingdom or edit their brain to allow them to make a kingdom

Edit the traits of the king to have over twenty traits, then force them to have children with the saxaphone rain(I forget the name but whatever)

Kill the current king and any princes until the child of the king is the only one left, then wait until they become king

Check their main info and they should have all the traits the old king did, except the scar of divinity(Due to genetic mirror)

and boom, king of kings and immortal are now yours
