There are a lot of curves in the way biomes blend which looks unnatural. I'd try mixing them more so the shapes are not so round. But you don't always have to do that, especially the parts in your map that are intentionally unnatural. Go wild!

The roundness comes from just using the brush with one size

The steam deck is handling this world surprisingly well. Over 25k total mobs on a 15x14 map. The framerate is lower than preferred but since I just let it run in the background all day it really isn't a problem and more power efficient than running my PC.

Im creating a wilderness area using the city places debug option. The blue spaces show where people can put up a village, and I can eliminate a bunch, sometimes 4 chunks with one small brush tap.
I thought about just making a ton of mountains/hills or having swamp (which nobody will have adaptation for) but this lets me have lots of jungle too
