If the colored lines match, like the green on top then it makes the effect stronger. I haven't messed with it much but it seems like a good way to create creatures actually how you want them

You have your gene loci and your gene pool Your gene loci is your active genes that affect your species To make a gene active but not really affective, add it to the gene loci. To make it affective, you need to connect the “branches” like a puzzle piece using the colors. So like: 🟨this gene🟥🟥that gene🟩🟩other gene🟦🟦last gene🟨 like it’s a puzzle

Decided to do something crazy: Made a Plague Doctor civilization, and then decided to spawn every sapient species in their clade to have a massive multiracial civilization, though many of the races punched each other a few times before aligning with the plague doctors.

Due to this, all the species will have access to healing staves and a religion that can cure diseases, with any splinters having a good chance of warding off plagues

It's also worth noting Plague Doctor language can be read by all races by default too
