It’s usually the opposite for me. A big empire sends their full army to take an island, leaving their core, densely populated areas unguarded, which get taken over, converting the units on the island and leading to even more battling.

250 elven soldiers led by Baron Selefa, one of the single most powerful military leaders within the Hollow Isles marched along the Jungle Coast in order to strike directly into the heart of Pallidia. However, the crafty King Argentum knew there was going to be a counterattack upon his kingdom, and brought his own personal armies down in order to meet Selefa.

A brutal battle occurred deep within the woods, with massive clouds of fog obscuring the battlefield. Thankfully, since it was in the middle of the woods, there was a lack of civilian casualties, except for a few village children who wandered into the woods to see the battle unfold.

Selefa was slain by Argentum himself, as the Pallidian king drove a sword through his chest. His armies were disorganized afterward, and were easy pickings for Argentum. Unfortunately, Argentum’s armies were disoriented by the fog, thick jungle terrain, and swarms of hostile snakes, crocodiles, and bears that were tamed and followed the army of the Elves prevented his armies from striking into the heartland of the Jungle Tribe.

(I don’t want to write an insane amount of lore to make this a bona fide story, so I’ll just post some cool battles every now and again)

Here is a dwarvish king, leader of the Great Sea Cne. He has some crazy traits: Gifted, genius, fertile, as well as regeneration. Won the lottery he did. His domain is predominantly elvish, though, through a brutal war, he secured several dwarvish cities on the main continent, Mul Ekor being a major battleground, and also the oldest of the dwarvish cities. The island settlements suffer from starvation, so King Dhir Oktila has a lot of work to do before his kingdom can match the power of the Rynywe Empire.

What’s actually quite interesting about that mod is you can deduce a lot of history from it, and you might actually get different species performing different roles.

Humans are predisposed to be expendable farmers or builders, Dwarves are predisposed to mine and build weapons, Orcs are predisposed to be warriors, and Elves are predisposed to be administrators. Taking into account breeding rates, innate stats, traits, etc, I would assume most soldiers would be Orcs or Humans, most laborers would be Dwarves or humans, and most leaders would be Elves (a vast minority)

Another thing I noticed: an elven king lives in a pretty much exclusive human city. He has a single child. Poked around, and most of the minority races in villages have fewer children than they normally would have

Well, the population has started to drop rapidly due to the plague. The war between A'Tohra and the O'Ene has ended after about twenty years and a few thousand deaths. Now O'Ene just battles a rebellious state that broke away from them. Hopefully, with the plague, some of the orcs can repopulate their cities

i dont think it tracks the stats from pre-steam worldbox

which allows you to basically copy a map into another map
