I don’t really have lore

I just like seeign kingdoms rise and fall

and clans rising up during wars, while watching other's fall

though, I suppose one thign I did have was the First houses, and the Great Houses

there were 10 kingdoms at the start. And the clans that founded them became known as the First Houses. They of course, had dominion over the continent, as everyone in power belonged to one of them

however, as wars raged on, sickness, and death, there were times where there wasn't enough members to take up leadership. Which gave rise to smaller clans to fill the power vaccuum.

Should a lesser clan persist long enough in the presense of a first house, they would be exalted to a Great House, sharing the same privelages and status as the first houses.

the whole map is 40x40, and it's quite a treck

not to mention having to cross through the arcane desert

part of the reason I did this was to see how long it would take armies to reach each other in a war

granted, it's very rare that kingdoms target other kingdoms that aren't directly next to them. But in the case of alliances and such, the distance to treck may be quite large

there's also the case of armies just completely bypassing each other due to the large space to travel.

It’s just a very large world. Large world = more people.

I prefer it when things happen organically. And this war happened without any influence on my part.

Though, I think on reason this war lasted so long was because there were multiple big rebellions that distracted whichever was the superior kingdom at the time.

the old war had like around 10k casualties the last time I checked and the new one between the orc alliance and the fangor continent has around 5-6k casualties
