My suggestion is having more civilization races.

TROLLS - They don't like elves and humans but they ally with orcs. They like deserts ( they live in them. )
BANDITS - They don't like any race except the pirates which they ally with.. They like forests ( over 10 bandits can form camps, small civilization. )
PIRATES - They don't like any race except the bandits which they ally with. They like oceans and beaches ( they live in ships on the water but can also make camps on beaches. )
VIKINGS - They don't like any race except the dwarves which they ally with. They like snow biomes where they can only live in, but they can also make ships near beaches.

Humans could make catapults when the town is fully transformed into stone buildings (idk the actual level). These weapons will be deployed and launch 5-10 rocks until it is “depleted” and destroyed. They will have 5 hit points more than the humans and will break apart houses like the grenade, just a little bit more powerful.

That the elves discover and develop in magic and creating magical weapons. That the dwarves have an advance in the smithy thus creating better weapons making the weapons of dwarves to have more damage or specials effects like burning edge or sth.
The orcs do not have a noticeable development but have more life and harm than other races (increase the birth rate of elves and orcs because they would not have such remarkable development as elves and humans)

I’m just gonna throw all the ideas I can think of into one message right now::

Allow the races to build bridges of some kind to allow them to explore other islands

Allow for bigger territory’s

Add settings to the world rules menu that allow for more control over races such as max population, max territory, resources efficiency, etc

Allow for more technical advancements in races better weapons (humans would get guns, elves bows and arrows, dwarfs swords, ogres clubs,) maybe transport of some kind? Personally I think it would be fun to see a race build up the fastest and nuke another,

I’m aware some of these might be planned out already but I wanted to say them just in case they weren’t

An option to stop water from flowing into the map if there is ocean near the border.

Allow generating maps which have lakes and rivers rather then islands and seas.

Add horses to the game that humans can tame and ride, which helps them move resources, fight in wars better and make travel faster.

So I made a world map and realized borders are up to AI,

We need a territory painter for world wide maps. How it could work: The icon could be a village with paint bucket or brush, you tap and hold on an existing village and drag it across the map to extend their territory, or tap and drag on an unclaimed territory to make a new kingdom (the game should automatically pause when painting and should remain paused until you spawn humanoids into the villages so they don’t disappear. It will then automatically unpause when all villages have a population above 0. The player could still unpause manually but the villages with population of 0 disappear.

I like the professions ideas already present but there are a couple that I think are missing.

Diplomat that can be sent to the Capital of other Kingdoms to negotiate peace, trade or alliance.

Tavern Owner/Inn Keeper, produces alcohol and allows some where for merchants/diplomats to stay when visiting, could also be location where "adventurers" gather?

Also Adventurer Professions, since there is already an achievement for creating middle earth why not one for gathering the party? I was original going to go over board with the full roster but I think it should be simplified a bit, four classes and just flavor them for each race.

Nerf fire and make it spread less, it shouldn't be a chore in game to put out one fire just because of one small bomb which goes off. At the moment the only way to put out a fire is to place a village on where you want it to stop spreading or you have to dump and entire ocean of water on it to put it out. Fire is so bad that even a geyser can keep it alive indefinitely. When I place down a geyser I shouldn't have to micromanage it to prevent i from constantly starting fires. That's simply not the geysers function. This is one of the reasons I almost decided against buying the game. To not have a natural way of putting out fires is annoying to the players who just want to watch with minimal interaction.

Basically every race would have its own jobs and also they can be made more distinct from each other.

examples:
Humans - Farmer, Hunter, Builder, Lumberjack, Miner, King, Village Leader, Warrior, Knight, Archer, Fisherman, Trader, Blacksmith, Wizard
(They basically do everything except they don't do it as well as others could)

Orcs - Hunter, Builder, Lumberjack, Miner, Warlord, Brute (Tougher Warrior), Warrior, Gatherer, Thrower (orc archer but throws axes), Angler (jump in the water to catch fish), Weaponsmith
(Primarily fight things but they aren't good at finding food unless they hunt which shouldn't be a problem if animals naturally spawn. They are a lot tougher in the early stages against weak groups but can be overpowered eventually. To make up for that, they can breed a little quicker.)

Dwarves - Farmer, Constructor, Lumberjack, Miner, King, Elder (village leader), Warrior, Weaponsmith, Armorsmith, Engineer (I don't know an "advanced builder" I guess who can build better buildings)
(They are weak on their own but when they get resources they can build themselves good armor and weapons. They do not trade and don't care about magic. In the endgame they are super powerful but they breed slowly and start off slow. They need access to ores or mountains to get strong. They don't like to trade and won't actively seek a fight unless it is elves)

Elves - Builder, Gatherer, Hunter, King, Leader, Archer, Druid (Plant mage or healer I guess), Trader, Tamer (Tames animals), Blacksmith
(They love nature and won't farm on land or cut down trees. They will build their houses out of other materials. Like humans, they will trade. They could get nerfed by only being able to get food by hunting or gathering it from bushes. Their archers are a lot better than human archers. However, they are weaker than humans in direct fighting. They can also possess the ability to create powerful swords and decent armor to make up for their weakness in direct fighting.)

Suggestion to make the 4 races more realistic:
if a village is attacked by a virus or creature and they are being defeated they will make the decision to run or stay to fight

add conversations between the same races:
This serves a lot to see if one tribe makes alliances with another or plans to make war with other tribes and so on.

Manually establish towns. This would be useful if A) you dont trust your npcs to not murder each other when they move about, and B) creating a map exactly in your image. Maybe drawing an outline on your map would create a border, but not necessarily towns, and the first race to be placed there could establish a foothold in that area. robots - they are more advanced than humans, can attack them or team up with them. they can build their own futuristic towns and can send antimatter bombs, missiles, grenades, nukes, etc to enemies. they are self-replicating, so robots create other robots and they reproduce faster than other life kinds. they create advanced structures, use ranged laser weapons that burn stuff when fired at.

diplomacy should be toggle-able too. also instead of bandit groups they could make a new race named raiders which don't settle, they just go around the world and raid kingdoms. their only purpose is to cause chaos, blowing up every house on their way. when the raiders have already killed 25% people in a raid, the humans will flee and the raiders will steal wood, metal, stone, gold and food from the settlers then will go away to start a raid at another town.

I personally believe the game shouldn't be entirely focused on Civilizations, albeit they are an interesting aspect. Worldbox is also a game to create landscapes, and well.. be a sandbox. And if we were to focus so much of effort onto the Civilizations it would feel as if you are being forced to use them, as it is the majority of the content. And that would be going against the idea of a sandbox. (Feel free to pick apart this argument, because it is most likely very stupid and has a major flaw)

Couple improvements to Nuclear Bombs/Tsar Bombs. Grass does not grow back on tiles that have previously been nuked, and the tiles do not become fertile soil again. Radiation is also given off in a certain radius around the explosion that damages NPCs and does not go away for 100 years.

So I remember someone saying something about how villages are too urbanised or something, so I would like to suggest a mechanic change for farms and houses.
Houses should have their capacity boosted (e.g tier 1 houses can have a capacity of 4, while tier 6 houses can have up to 30 or even 50) and higher tiers made more difficult to upgrade to by making them require more of the currently available resources or high tier houses requiring some form of new resource that could be produced by the village (bricks, processed materials, etc.). This would, if I thought about this correctly, reduce the number of houses per village, decreasing the urban density of a village and making it more "realistic".
The extra space freed up from this could be used for the planned specialist buildings, or maybe allow the villages to build more of the same types of specialised buildings (like having more mines for example).

For farms, maybe make the growth rate of crops slower so farmers can make more farmland pixels per farm cycle (farmers currently will create new farmland pixels if all farmland currently has crops growing on them.), thus expanding the amount of farmland used by a village.
Perhaps a village could be coded to set aside a set amount of territory blocks to be entirely used for farming instead of planting houses everywhere and then figuring out where to put farms.
Once again, would be cool to have for realism's sake.
