Forgot you guys have such low joule limit our field determine MED for full auto and if you are under 1 J you can theoretically spray people at point blank our normal limit is 1.5J and you are expected to show some discretion inside of 30 feet this is my sub 1J gun it’s so much fun and hops .30 far as hell

The E&L AKS-74u essential are full steel (naked blued steel and requires some oil and care unlike painted Russian AK’s) it’s very durable with a very reliable internals.
I love mine I’ve had if for 4 years, it’s one of the guns I learned to tech on.
I would warn, lct fell of pretty hard internally and in QC for a while.I don’t know how they are right now, but they look pretty good when QC works. i got a Lk33 AEG in 2023 that sounded like it had glass in the gearbox and it was shimmed like crap out of the box .

I have no personal experience with specna unfortunately, but those I know who have one where satisfied with their m4 pattern replicas performance, And I was pleasantly surprised by the sturdiness of a friends m4 as one who started airsoft using steel AKs

From a jug teaching me, the best leg armor is homemade. Id reccomend taking regular leg guards, and using foam and fabric to make rear parts and upper leg collars if that makes sense

If people care, here be a way to run a duel stage trigger in an M249/PKM, the front facing contact runs my magazine and the rear facing contact fires my gun, and you can adjust the stage offset by bending the innermost metal lever. Hope this helps someone someday 🙂

Hey guys, does anyone have any bolt action rifles that are below 1.1 joules they would recommend ?

I'm trying to CQB with a bolty and a lot of the ones I'm currently looking at are quite high in power

You could always buy a decent bolt action and just put a lower joule spring in it

I have a silverback Tac41. Really solid as a stock rifle, but the best part is, there is a small version that would be perfect for CQB

there is also the Ares Strikers there is a short version of it and they use standard AEG springs, and are easy to take apart and/or convert to HPA if you are in to that

ive had a tac41 i went some 1.9j stock tho for some reason i was unable to get it over 2.5j, so i sold that C*nt
And now i got an SRS and that thing wants to go way over 3J but im keeping it at 2.5j xD

I put like a 5 joule spring in it because it feels like it’s not shooting very far for it being a sniper

One of my aegs was shooting just as far lol

I think the issue is also hop up and seal related

i aint allowed to shoot above 4J and with 2.5j im allowed to shoot at people from 20m and further but with 4j its some 30 to 40m

my SRS is a laser beam up to about 70m and i cant use anything lighter then .45G or ill be shooting at birds even when im aiming down

cool, just respect you're self a dont convert it to HPA and just get someone to upgrade the AEG parts like a brushless motor and a good mosfet

Yeah I don’t really like hpa all that much

I feel like it’s just a hassle (and a lot of hpa players r unpleasant)

yeah, well i tend to hate AEGs as they tend to just brake on me for some reason so i go with HPA or Spring

my old PKMs wireharnes went up in smoke twice and burned out the Motor, the 2nd pkm (the one i have now) burned out the motor and the mosfet was junk too, so it was over all chaeper for my to convert it to hpa
