Yes, because getting shot with body armor can and probably will break a few ribs depending on how much your plates can absorb. Hence why ppl wear trauma plates to take more energy past the plates

Getting shot isn't fun even if you have body armor. It'll be a big nasty bruise and to minimize that, there needs to be an added layer to the protection

Plates prevent the penetration and shattering of the bullet by absorbing the bullet and shrapnels itself, but the energy will still transfer past the plates

the LBCR seems to be pretty good for my use, which will probably just be holding magazines for range day
the clothing will hold up to abuse
the AR is an AR, i can change out parts if i need, but i’ll probably keep it close to what the military uses for drip reasons. if i want something different i might run an SR 25 or something else custom
the backpack is a backpack, no comment
the headphones might be different, depending on my use for it
ULACH is just a solid level 3A helmet, but then again i probably will never need to use it

Usually he would just line truck beds but there was a few times he had to do plates
