Also your effect on the ground as I mentioned, if your walking with a pack on and a pasgt helmet and a rig full of equipment and you go down terrain the wrong way or go through terrain you didn’t expect like mud or water you would wish you had kept everything manageable

Then you also have the aspect of weather protection and how the elements are gonna effect it, if it gets wet then it’s gonna be a lot heavier, if you have to cross water too you need everything In waterproofing and preferably you want a bag you can also use for floatation bc a bag that has good waterproofing can do that so just think of the full picture

From going through vegetation like that you could try crouching through bush that’s so thick you can’t even cut a path to walk through with a bag on etc it’s a really fun time getting snagged and torn up all when you thought it would be pretty clear or your machete can do the work but some bush is just too thick even when you prepare for it
