more scav rep you have, less hcances he will attack you.
Killing him or his guards or any other neutral scavs lowers your karma.
Once you lose quite a bit, you lose extraction points and scavs become hostile

also on top of that, fence doesn't sell you many items and are expensive and your scav case in hideout receives massive crafting timers and on top of all that you get more cooldown on your scav

It's called scavenging, Grizzlys were always plentiful and now people will actually keep them

Now everything matters, don't drop something because it's not worth and if you need it you can just buy it on the flea. Start making due with what you have and not just buying what you want.
