EOD is definitely a straight up advantage

But you can though: kappa is a direct upgrade to the gamma case, you can upgrade your stash to the same size, you can raise the rep of the traders and get the extra stuff EOD gets at start from within raids. The only thing you don't get is the golden color. In practical terms, that means that you can get everything people pay extra money for by playing the game.

I mean technically m61 is better than almost everything else in the game, but its not just about the bullets, the platform in total is more important.
Like the mpx is a crazy good gun but it uses 9mm so overall it's mediocre asf
M4s are really good and 556 has pretty good ammo so it's overall considered the best in the game.
762nato is a great round stand alone, but the guns hinder it greatly, uncontrollable full auto, lower mag capacity, and heavy trade offs in the recoil-ergo department.

Yes. Subsonic is (I believe) only like 4 less pen, and although it shoots faster, you have less recoil while shooting it. You do NOT need 40 rounders for mp7s, 30 rounds is plenty and 40 rounders without mechanic 4 are way too much.

Running the KS-23 is all the rage these days but don't underestimate being able to fire 20 rounds of flechettes within a few seconds. I don't recall how well flechettes perform against barriers, but with that many pellets you only need one to connect for someone to reconsider their life choices.
You don't need to be hot shit either, just have to make a handful of the flechettes connect and the spread is quite helpful in that manner.
