Depending on the shell you were using you could do very minimal damage while having all 8 shots hit

Outplay generally refers to tactics used and how well you did as apposed to the result- Sneaking and using good positioning and timing to get in a mag from two different guns and immediately stunning and repositioning generally is seen as better than having gear that makes you a walking tank and shooting 50 bullets from the hip hoping one hits
Personally I think I outplayed them, though I suppose it could be a subjective opinion

to the scav-thing i prefer another dead instead of -0.05 oder -0.1 fence karma - at some point you can scav every 5 minutes - at this point you should even less care if you die as a scav

already did nearly 100 factory >runs< - died maybe 20 times - is .8 fence rep - 6 mins less waiting for scav

takes some time, but reaching rep 6 karma is worth it if you like scaving
but in my case, scav runs aren't that fun if 80% of all scavs just shoot you on sight

i think you have to cross a point where players have farmed fence rep to kill other scavs - i hope with fence rep 2.5+ i will have less of those lobbys

btw to scav it up - factory - my runs partwise last 0:38 and even if you exfil earlier you still get the fence rep

I'm only level 28 I started playing this wipe a few weeks ago, 850 hours or so, and I work full time 12 hour shifts so it's hard for me to play after work. what I do is select a couple of days that I can game and grind out rubles doin scav runs and low risk pmc runs with the main goal of survival with whatever loot I can get, avoid quests if they're mildly inconvenient or risky. this usually sets me up with enough rubles for a couple weeks to a month depending on how good I do and how expensive my kits are. I can also show you some min-maxing tips if you're interested

low level players exceed at this point in the wipe if they know what they're doing

So the traders must be leveled with quests

I've been searching for the freaking salewas for 12 levels on customs, on the crack house and on the top floors of the construction buildings, the only times I found them I died from people having better gear than me. That means everyone else because until you get to lvl 15 you're basically forced to use the sks if you want to have a chance to kill people at this point because of the 762 PS

And even when I take people out they usuat have a mag on the gun and another one on their rig

The rest of their stuff is in their prison wallet

Same with meds, same with extra stuff

That can just save more money because they have the EOD while I can barely fit anything useful in my alpha container

For me it feels like the game forces you to buy EOD and get to lvl 40

And then have fun

Or torture yourself with Jager's stuff that are now such a big time sink especially on woods that it's not even fun

I know people that queued up together to get the "get 3 kills with bolt action rifle on woods"

I feel like if I don't cheese a lot of the quests I'll just sink another 800h before I even consider getting the kappa

And by then the game would have eiped another 5 times

kappa isn't endgame for me my only endgame is max traders. there's no way of getting around the fact that this game is a time sink unless you break the EULA or whatever variation of that they have for this game which I am not endorsing at all. idk what your irl situation is like but if it's possible at all I'd recommend getting eod, unfortunately it's just the way the game was meant to be played especially if you don't have unlimited time on your hands

that's basically my "problem" with the game, it get balanced for people who have EOD and exploit it in a way. Like people running with sas drives and shotgun shells for strength training etc. Or the people who queue on the same server to cheese the "pistol kills on factory"

and there is a vertical grip that gives you -0 recoil + 7 ergo

as if the weapon handling recoil wise doesn't change at all

oh and it would be fine not having the 100% "meta" attachments because bullets usually matter more

but m61 is worth 3k ~ and (almost) always 3 shot everyone with any armor while the Lapua FMJ may need 3-4 shots on lvl 6 armor and right now on the flea costs 11k roubles

and the only gun that can use it can not get suppressed currently

meaning that people who really want to abuse 100% of all the meta they will just m61 all day for cheap while remaining suppressed with no recoil guns while the average player that doesn't have EOD will just struggle because he's forced to do quests

and everyone around him can either go for PVP or leveling

i wouldnt recommend stretched for any game since your perceived sensitivity for x and y axes is different
