It's a bad idea. The entire point is trying to survive with whatever loot you can. Otherwise you could fill a backpack, ditch it, and then fill another backpack and extract. Essentially leaving with 2 backpacks full of loot.

If you aren't good enough to get out of raid with your loot, play something else.

the only reason i can see drop off points being a good idea is because they'd be high risk high reward, you either go to the drop-off at the chance of being ambushed by an enemy squad or you can secure the loot by extracting, in streets of tarkov there is multiple pmc spawn times and the raid goes on for around 2 hours from what i heard, but otherwise it would suck for any other basic raid in tarkov

Hey can anyone help me with a current issue that I am having when playing the game? My game seems to stutter a lot on maps like reserve, customs, and shoreline, but on factory my fps stays stable. My pc is 16 gb of ddr4 ram 1060 3gb graphics card and an intel i7-7700 and the game is very hard on my pc with these specs and I don't know why. My friend had worse specs and was able to run the game just fine.

Well those 3 maps are pretty busy. Lots of assets and Scavs and players. Shoreline is pretty empty except for resort, and Factory is so small it shouldn't cause many issues anyway.

I know it's dumb, but try turning your graphics settings higher. When I had my 1060 6gb, I was getting shit FPS on medium graphics.

Turned my textures to high, shadows to medium, LOD quality to 4, overall visibility to 3000, shadow visibility to 40, AA to FXAA, resampling to 1x off, HBAO off, SSR off, anisotropic filtering off, and all those little boxes at the bottom off.

That improved my FPS and stutters considerably. Also, look up a program called Process Lasso and find a guide on YouTube for optimizing it for Tarkov. Also helped me a TON with performance.

The only thing your PC actually has real control over is loading map, and loading loot, and maybe synchronizing with other players.

If you have a decent SSD and at least 16gb dual channel RAM running at decent speeds and a decent CPU, you shouldn't be having issues

Woods, Customs, and Interchange have a vehicle extract. If you're having no luck on Interchange, try Woods. Car is usually there for me and is rarely ever contested.

Yep. When your a scav avoid scav boss at all cost. Unless you're lvl 6 and farming sanitar. Raiders wont agro instantly on you until you get close to them. You'll normally hear them when they agro.
