I was in a similar spot, and I found playing other FPS’s helped. Tarkov is punishing enough even when you’re comfortable with mouse and keyboard. It’s hard to get good practice in when you get head-eyes’d out of no where constantly when first learning Tarkov.

but just keep playing whatever you find fun and you’ll get the hang of it.

I'd recommend going through #sherpa-info and head over to the Hub, not only are they more newbie friendly since it's a server dedicated to teaching new users, it'll be easier to learn shooter habits with someone used to teaching

Going to sound cringy but fortnite or like a game like nine to five or rainbow six siege just something with a lot of keybinds but not over the top

if you have fun on one of those just keep playing them and it will help with playing on keyboard and mouse and even typing just do to muscle memory of knowing the general area of keys on the keyboard

tarkov just has a bit to many keybinds to learn of off and is a high risk medium reward game so doesn't make not knowing keyboard and mouse any more fun

hi i have a question did anyone notice the new system of stats , like the first time i use my stamina bar it lasts let's say for 30s after it is recharged it will last only for 25s next for 20 until it reach a cap it is the same with everything i think , like if i break my leg and run i will lose half HP of my leg in 10s for exmpl after i fully heal it it in 10s i will lose more than half even the screams in pain will become faster until it reachs 5s for half HP please if anyone knows this confirm it

Blacked out limbs no longer mitigate any damage so assuming the system is the same as the new ballistics then when you run your leg is no longer mitigating damage and its being soread more evenly across the body

Question guys, a friend of mine has the EU version of Tarkov but currently lives in Thailand (originally from UK). He has no servers other than asian ones (not even greyed out ones with high ping) Is there any way it can be resolved? bit long for him as he paid full price for the game. not sure about that because it is not about blacked out , i was pointing out broken legs. first time running with a broken leg full hp took an X amount of time to reach half hp , after healing it to a 100% it took Y amount of time reaching half hp . after that it keeps going down in times it reached Z which is the cap for it . with Z= X/2 ( this is an approximate example ) but try it if u can please and let me know
