TL:DR: 3700x has two CCX with 4 cores each. They talk with infinity fabric. Infinity fabric slow.

The core layout of the 3700x features two copy paste modules known as CCXs, 4 cores each and their own L3 cache. They communicate with infinity fabric, which is kinda slow. In general, you dont want game threads to travel back and forth through the infinity fabric because this is slow compared to just letting it be in the cache of the CCX it is already on. Windows tries to reduce this as much as possible but is not perfect, therefore using task manager or powershell to restrict tarkov to only one CCX and then restrict all other programs to the other CCX should result in a more persistent cache, less cache misses and more processor time to tarkov. This has helped me quite a bit in other CPU intensive games too.

its not a matter of whether your or other people ask for a wipe. this is the thing thats plagues the community for years streamers ask for a wipe and their wish comes true so they can no life the progression again. statistically wiping will only do more harm than good as there no core changes to the game to facilitate one. the last wipe 12.9 was justified because they reworked starting gear, added faces which ofc they would need to wipe for that, etc etc.

as for a scope rework, factory rework and may or maybe not scav karma and a couple guns. keep dreaming if you expect this wipe to last longer than the current one.
