i mean ofc it helps, if you played arma2, pubg, those kinda games, but you learn things pretty quick, there are tons of information out in the internet about maps, how to find things, etc etc ... and unless this is your first game ever, you probably get into it pretty quick ... and taking 30min here and there to watch a stream, even not focused and you find stuff out thats helpful and you can build your knowledge on top of that 🙂

ofc, but you learn the sneaky routes 🙂 i mean i am almost always on customs ... great map, yes i win a fight here and there, mostly i lose fights, but i learn how to avoid it, when i feel like i got good stuff and wanna get it out

ofc i have to admit i am the kinda guy that is super cheap 😄 so my lvl3 armor and my shotgun don't do good against geared players, but shotguns are such fun 😄 and i love them so even with alot of money, i don't see myself with HK's or M4's and from what i heared that val#s seem to be the superior gun, that is even super cheap to get, i will def not take that one 😄

but i see this simply as an issue by playing solo like me ... chances are rare that you get into the room as teams directly move there probably heavy geared

and even if you get there early, chances are high there are scavs or even raiders

so as PMC solo i prefer the small dorm, whilst as scav player i try to check if a big team got overwhelmed by raiders 😄 so there might be good stuff to loot at least

agreed. But not only that. As solo PMC basically everyone is your enemy, and i know it myself, scavs can be sneaky when it comes to hunting down basically everything at the end. So first you have to avoid heavy geared PMC's and then you have to avoid scavs hunting you as they have nothing to lose

even had it like 1 week ago, when i was still on the garage side, as sometimes it takes me a while to get over the bridge. By that time, i killed one PMC, got into a fight with another one, he got away, killed 2 normal scavs and also tried to check for some things myself to loot. by that time a 4 man scav team spawned near me, and even though by circling me down, i could kill 2 of them, whilst they wounded me pretty heavily already and the last 2 took me down

and you can tell those were scav players, as one went up onto the garage roof, and the other 3 came from different sides behind cars and such ... not saying normal scavs wouldn't attack you, but not the sneaky way they tried to 😄

@meager finch I don't know if they made NPC scavs have a quieter walking or something but they always seem to sneak up on me if they see me first without screaming outloud lol! Yeah I've noticed this wipe player SCAVs are really aggressive toward others, I used to make friends all the time and kill PMCs. Now I just get shot in the face before I even have a second to wiggle, but they prob would've shot me anyway 🤣

They need to fix scavs this is getting annoying. I cleared out oli, go in the little office area behind the locker to pack mags and fix my boo boos and all of a sudden I hear sprinting getting louder and louder and I wait and it's a scav that charges in and point blanks me with a shotgun. Like I understand that they want them to be more human like but it's annoying when they automatically know exactly where you are without visually seeing you

Oh! Haven't had that experience yet.... The player Scav that wiggled at me was playing nice.... But it is a thought. Shoot an AI Scav and they will all shoot you on sight... A player scav though, is a different matter as far as I understand it

i think woods is really a map, that you can enjoy when you basically know every tree and you can determine if someone is sitting behind it or not ... knowing all angles where someone can get shot from and so on ...

back in the days i was playing Americas Army and i loved the 2 maps Bridge SE and Mountain pass SE, which were really big maps with woods, ridges, valleys, like alot of possible ways ... and i had thousands of hours on those maps, which led to points, where you were laying on a ridge, in cover, just peeking for like 1-2 seconds, and by knowing the picture of that view like 100%, in that moment, you could figure out if there was a single black dot in a shadow of a tree that was not supposed to be there, knowingly thats a player and you could spam M16 fire burst (yes M16 old times) 😄 into that tree ... i assume it's the same with woods ... unless you know basically every frame there ... you will die alot by ppl that just have more time on that map

I've decided FUCK the 7.62x51 caliber. I was using m62 rounds and realized that I'm either putting 1 in the head, 2 in the chest, or like, 5 bullets spread around the body. I then realized I can use an ADAR for ~50k that has way better ergo and recoil than a vepr hunter, and I can still 1 shot anyone in the head, 2/3 shot in the body

@ashen folio i do use the ram cleaner ingame inbetween raids, weird thing is sometimes my memory seems to fill up in 5 minutes while 2 hours earlier it took 1-2 at least halfway time before extracting-raids before noticing lags/stutters
