Is there a ton of hackers that make the game completely unbearable?

No. Yes, there are some, but noticeable hackers are very rare. Only a visible amount when you play the one map, Labs, a lot.

Would you recommend this game?

Definitely not to everybody. This game is a bug filled mess. Ask me about any individual feature and I can give a list of bugs associated with it. This game inspires frustration and anger. You will lose, and a good amount of time it's not your fault and there's nothing you could have done to prevent it. The game will stutter and skip the moment you come face-to-face with an enemy. The footstep audio of the guy walking up behind you won't play. You'll try to heal and get stuck in an infinite healing animation. You'll toss a grenade out a window and watch it fly for a few meters only to watch it boomerang back into your face and blow you up. You will lose hours of work to bugs and bullshit.

Despite all this, EFT is one of my most played games. Why? The combination of great gun play, risk vs reward, high skill ceiling, and tense situations still get my heart beating like crazy after over 2,000 hours of playing. If you're willing to learn and can put up with a buggy mess that'll make you angry and are looking for a looter shooter, give this game a shot.

The issue with higher FOV is your optics become misaligned.

The lower your FOV, the more aligned they are with how they should be

#

If you grab a reflex, like the PK-06 and fire a shot at 50 FOV (the lowest) and a higher FOV, for example, 75, the 50 will land right on the dot while the 75 will land significantly above it.

#

Give it a shot in the hideout if you've got the shooting range or in offline.

@gusty moth If you have 16:9 aspect ratio go for 64. It equates to ~90 horizontally. Low FOV has it‘s own issues. That‘s the middle-ground for most people.

@signal zenith sorry- no proof- but yes its possible to be alone in a raid, especially night raids. a good way to tell is if you are stuck on the "waiting for players" screen for around 3-5 minutes, then it will load you in to what will probably be an empty raid

@vague thorn that is true, but like in real life the altyn is not how it is portrayed in this game. they only have a high chance to ricochet high calibre bullets, and are mainly used to protect their eyes from shrapnel from blasts. you still have to be careful and not run around like a call of duty player. they dont actually stop penetration of high calibre, which has been stated on numerous forum posts, yet devs didn't listen

this is also why the US special forces use helmets like the fast MT, they have to use tactics and power in numbers, and they actually train to try to avoid getting hit in the face. in this game if you use anything below a tier 5 or 6 armor and helmet, you might as well be naked. in real life there is no running around like a call of duty child

That doesn't really explain much. As an ex-eveonline player i'm almost hardwired to try and figure out what happeneded. But propane doesn't have particularly much use (what... 2 trades and a quest I believe? And one of the trades is something you only need once anyway - RR), so such a strong reaction feels weird. Guess I'll consider it an investment opportunity at least.

@vivid stag If there's sudden fluctuation or price spike/drop: Probably because some barters or recipes changed. If there is constant fluctuation it's probably because people buy them up in masses then resell them at a certain point in time.
