I'm on streets and I've found a few places like this, I'm fine to loot in other areas, but some are bugged. i'd say it's worth it if you have a good reserve of money and if you are bringing in good income, I only buy if they go below 390k, which i think they're like 450k right now so I wouldn't buy them now

i did some speed testing, and c# .net framework is largely bottlenecked compared to the newer .net core, and unity (tarkov's engine) runs on this framework

its because unity is not good at multithreading. it gets cpu bottlenecked on the main thread, so its barely using your cpu

I find that it's not my GPU nor my CPU but rather the RAM. ihave 16gb of ram but holy, streets eating up all the ram

practice mode will sometimes lag more than usual because everything is running locally, but streets easily takes 20GB of ram for me, 16gb just wont cut it unless you lower settings or use a pagefile

A page file allows you to use an SSD to act as virtual memory to allow for easier paging for your RAM. Essentially giving you more memory and removing most of the stability issues associated with the Streets location without 32GB+ RAM

TL;DR, your system isn't on par with what you'd want to properly run the location

So either take 2 minutes to do what I sent you, or avoid the location as you said and wait for further optimisations in future

Nope, patches with wipes go up a whole number, last wipe was the 0.14 patch and next wipe will be 0.15 this is a mid wipe patch called 0.14.5

And you can just check patchnotes if it was wiping the patchnotes eould say it

Idk, i do tend to get quite chonky there so being able to send a lot of that home and stay in raid sounds very nice. And the fast travel option is probably the most usefull on woods, when you have outskirts extract but you gotta do sonething for a quest on the oposite side of the map being able to get to outskirts faster and in complete safety from snipers by riding it will be huge

This is a genuine question, I am an og player and am trying to get into it again this wipe (its been 3-4 wipes since i played heavily last) I hit level 15 but realized quickly all the ammo is very high level req for shitty ammo, or just plain not available, is it worth playing anymore if I dont have 50 hours a week to play?

I have noticed that you don't get the game aborted bug if you just launched the game and never loaded your hideout. If you have loaded your hideout, you have to relaunch your game to avoid the bug
