The metric I measure if someone is "better" is mechanical skill obviously there's no "better player" when it comes to statistics since there's no actual metric to measure it on but you can easily tell when someone's mechanical skill is a lot higher compared to other players

However now that i've been purely boss hunting for a couple of days (been doing shturman) i noticed a ton of cheaters whenever he's there. Just now me and my friend died deep in the night again some guy with barely 60 hours that headshot him twice, then proceeded to headshot me twice too after which i just bailed (ty atomic mask). And all he's using is an m700 without nvgs using bcp fmj.

I change position, scope him out with my thermal but he always sees me first still xd it's crazy.

also a lot of these cheaters with insane KDs and barely 50 hours gameplay aren't getting banned either. Not getting back any messages

@median zenith Play it slow, never sprint unless some one is shooting at you and buy a good headset (tactical sport is the best budget one)

As soon as you hear something go full crab.

Once you start learning the maps you can speed it up as you'll know where to aim and stuff. Otherwise you'll just get rolled over by people who know what they're doing

and remember, aiming down sights or releasing it makes noise. Turning on the spot also makes noise. Any decent player will instantly hear those sounds if they're close enough.

Best bet early game is to go crouched and move as slow as possible until you kinda know where they are.

I mean based on the rework of shoreline, they are good with the concept of the map (as in how it plays). Like, it looks better now, for sure. But they did not expand a single key-location on the map.
So even if they would rework lighthouse, I would just guess they would "doll it up" but not change how the map works/playes or expand on key locations.

a large portion of the playerbase is doing many different tasks that tell them to pvp at lighthouse, the spawns are not very hard to learn, so people just look at them at the start of a raid

you dont need to "play" the map for questing. Just bring food/water, lay in a bush for ~20min (do something else in that time) then do the quest at the end of the raid.
Like, you need to go lh 1-3 times max like that and then never come back.

You know what a real problem of eft is? It has no endgame. Once you reach 42, there is basically zero content to do. The only thing to do are chase goals like kappa. But besides that zero content. The only "game-play" left is just endless running maps in hopes of finding pvp.

thats personal preference, if you enjoy rushing, than thats the correct move. But if you progress to 42, you will basically run out of (interesting) quests. And if you go further then 42, there will be like zero directional content besides daily and weekly quests.

No clue if you ever played wow, but imagine an endgame, were everything thats left is farming some (ultra-hard to get) cosmetics, doing daily and chasing world pvp. And nothing else. But for some reason nobody in the eft community seems to be bothered by it.

Daily quest and the kappa chase, isnt a real endgame for me. Eft has no functional endgame, unless you count chasing pvp as the endgame. They should do what Path of Exile has done. PoE has every season a season mechanic, that is added to the game for that season. If that mechanic is good its added to the endgame. If the mechanic is bad it does not get added. Over time they build a complet and functional endgame like that. As a season game eft should do something like that.

streets is not running well on my laptop and i dont know why. I have 40gb ddr5 4800mhz, R7 6800hs and a 3060 mobile. I run all other maps around 100-120 fps at 1080p low, yet streets runs at 35-50. My old laptop with similar specs and a 3070 ran streets at 144fps at 1080p high. I dont think the vram should have this much of an impact. any ideas?
