the current questing system is meerly side tasks. we havent even gotten a look at the actual story taskline for escape from tarkov. what we are doing right now are as described in the games description, a testing phase. simply a temporary progression loop to keep people busy while they shoot and loot shit. also if the community comes up with a list of shit, bsg cant moderate that, and people arent just gunna sit back and say, well bsg didnt want this so we arent gunna do it. lets be real here

They actually are, since the global limit on those grips is very low, only a few hundred. My guess is that roughly 50-70k players currently have that quest active, so yeah. Eventually BSG will realize that the global limit is far to low (I doubt that it occurred to them to increase it due to it being required for a quest) as the limit is the same as it was last wipe when literally nobody would waste rubles on pistol grips unless they were doing a roleplay account.

Yes, it is. It's the same with many of the new gunsmith quests. I have a vector part that I found in raid that I literally am selling for a rare key, a key that used to sell on the flea for 2-4 mil before the fees were so high. I get having a high fee on items that are ridiculously marked up, but the max fee should be capped at 50% of the asking price. It's dumb that a fee would exceed the revenue.

If you heard any footsteps then those are not cultists and you indeed just got shot at by regular scavs which spawn next to the hill just above old station

Also cultists are not hostile to you unless you shoot at them or go within kissing distance to them so they would not have pushed that hard anyway

Cultists can "travel pretty far" but they can only spawn near marked circles and the closest marked circle to the old station is on the other side of the map, and they cannot go that far, the most they'll chase is like 200ish meters, not 1km

Tarkov is unique because of it's intricate health system, ballistic profiles for different types of ammo and weapons, face and (soon™️) body hitboxes that allow for the bypassing of armor with well-placed shots, weapon modification, map design and gameplay loop. anything to enhance the experience and further immerse the player in the game and the world they're building is good, and intricate mechanics such as ODing on meds, concussions, getting knocked out, etc. are additions that can make the game even more interesting to play

I'm finding much more success using a 2x or 3x scope + laser rather than a red dot. Much easier for me to spot the pixels with that magnification

I don't know what this mechanic is called, but when you raise your weapon at an angle to shoot over cover, you do that and ADS or un ADS, or something like that I kinda forget cause like I said IDC much about it
