I got 3300 hours in that game, I owned few servers and played it since 2016, and I can tell you that ARMA 3 is a bad example, the anti-cheat is so bad that most of the servers use 3rd party anticheat, and I am not even caping right now, most of the servers greet you with Infistar welcome message and yes, the Infistar is 3rd party Anti-Cheat and administration tool, with it's own servers, cheaters database and global bans. Also what greatly helps Arma is that it is not that big of a game in terms of popularity + most of the community plays on community and private servers which are all administrated by active admins that are watching the servers 24/7 and banning players reported for cheating manually. Also if proof is solid enough cheating guy ends up with global ban on Infi-Star anticheat, so he can't play on most of unofficial public servers unless whitelisted. Also despite Exile game mode theres not many reason to cheat in Arma despise being a dick.
