If you press O twice quickly it will show you where your extraction is likely to be. Some are 100% spawn rate but some need the green smoke...or keys...or money

i recommend going to beginner assistance or finding a channel called sherpas. you can go to certain extracts, depending on the side you spawn at. it also depends some extracts like one on shoreline pier is RNG if its actually there or not.

also for specific ones like you have to be EXACTLY on it. like the one under the grotto in lighthouse.

i mean tbh its a learning process. its not really broken for that one specifically you have a wide open area. but you have to make sure you HAVE that extract. you dont always have the same extracts as scavs.

if you want to know an easy way to tell. Look at characters feet and their shoulders. Most of the times scavs look homeless so theyll have sandals at times or just not "boots" or like i said, shoulders. bears and PMCs this early in wipe will always have their patch icon. and most players atm will all look the same besides scavs.

just if you do understand if you actually play the game heavy then yes. if you are planning on trying out the game then play the game normally first, then just pay the difference later. my friend went 3 years playing regular before swapping to EOD because he got tired of the stash/container grind early wipe.

@lone fossil both techniques have their ups and downs, but deliver almost the same performance. I switched to FSR 2 because there is less ghosting on the weapon and in particular small moving objects (dust particles on Factory and grass in general). DLSS does perform better on tree objects (visit woods when its windy, stand next to a tree and watch it move). Less ghosting on trees compared to FSR 2. It all comes down to personal preference, I dont mind the ghosting on trees, because I am not focusing my vision on them when I visit Woods.

i dunno, it has been said that popping an sj9 or sj12 prevents you from being seen by zryachiy but there is no clear indication as to how it all works yet
