Go reserve (night works best) and hide around scav lands until u hear a scav voiceline and then voiceline back. PvP is up to you but it's fairly easy to tell when someone is going to scav lands exfil to kill players.

Watch some loot guides and tutorials. Have a map of the game pulled up on a second screen if you have it. Run solo for a while, as doing team stuff isnt good until you are familiar with the game. Its not too bad to get he hand of it. Your asshole will be a bit looser for a while tho.
