So, not entirely sure if this will just be for me but. 6900XT user here, in an effort to get the radeon software to actually record gameplay instead of the greenscreen bug, I found out that turning on (or off) gpu scaling in the radeon menu seems to jilt the software into working again. I also noticed that fiddling with this setting actually gets the game running smooth again after some hiccups with fps drops lately. As I say, not sure if will work for 6000 series and whatnot, but it might be worth a try if you have a radeon card and have seen some performance drops lately. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
