If you can't invest the time, something with a more immediate return on investment (of your time) would probably yield more enjoyment. On a related note 3 years isn't that much, as a much less complex game insofar as backend is concerned, KSP dropped its Closed Beta in 2011 and finished development in 2015. All they had to develop and fine tune a physics and building system, and it took them four years.

Considering BSG has to:
Develop server architecture
Design environments
Tune sound within all those environments
Tune penetration values on a material-to-material basis and assign material to old levels that were't built with those values in mind.
etc.
etc

I'm willing to give them at least a little benefit of the doubt, granted even knowing that it doesn't effect my faith in them as a functional studio but that's a different matter entirely

Damage Absorbed also doesn't take into account damage reduction by armor, it's just the raw damage number.

btw, do NOT use external postfx changers, i know a friend that got banned for using geforce experience filters

Keep in mind that a lot of other people don't have on-board monitor memory settings. That does give you an unfair advantage and while you may not be banned for doing so, do remember that you are technically cheating

GFE hooks into the game, Battleye can see that. By default it can't effect Tarkov due to BSG communicating with Nvidia, but you can force it to.
