Im severely red/green colorblind so the fact they changed it from 'Grey' meaning full health and 'Red' meaning low health to a 'Green and Red' respectively has really fucked me over

I do know that if you have 8gb of system RAM it is extremely difficult to load into games and play consistently. 16gb should ABSOLUTELY be the minimum spec. That could be your issue @thick ocean

This game is poorly optimized right now. That is a known issue. It doesnt matter if you spent 5000 dollars on a computer. You will not see consistent frame rates or high frame rates on this game. Labs is the only fairly high FPS zone in this game.

It wouldn't surprise me if they have their own operation health to refactor the legacy code especially after so many years, but they have said that proper optimization will happen once they have most of the functionality down, because they don't want to cover the same ground multiple times if they can avoid it

In a big project you've got a lot of people that are likely working within a bunch of different versions of the game at any time while they work on a feature, and it's not until QA time that you pull those different parts together to try and make them work. So they can't really optimize the puzzle, while the whole puzzle isn't even put together yet. When an area can be sectioned off and investigated then yeah they'll do what they can, but that's a rare occurrence in such a dynamic environment, and when things change, then that progress could be undone

It's a known bug, we don't really know what's causing it
Most players don't have that issue and I haven't been able to reproduce it
