As if there isn't cheaters in every game anyway. At least BSG has spoken about wanting to kill the reasons to cheat, over just spending 90% of the day trying to detect new cheats. Changing around some game mechanics to lower the desire to cheat is way more effective, riot games took that route with league of legends, along side an anti-cheat, to just make it not worth it for most of those who were going to cheat in the first place. (Inb4 FPS != moba. They used NON gameplay mechanics to discourage cheats, and BSG has stated they want to do the same, kill the RWT markets etc)
Also the nature of the game, you're gonna remember the time you got dinked by a cheater on here, far more often then when you get dinked by a cheater on cod and just respawn in 5 seconds.

@cerulean hill Prewipe last 3-5 days. Could last longer as Pestily said it may wipe on a Monday June 1st. There are several phases. Today is phase 1 which is adding raiders instead of scavs on all maps. Most likely tomorrow will be phase 2 which is adding Economy events. Phase 3- adding secure container event (maybe)
And lastly raiders on and everything is cheap as f. Everything is unlocked, stats and traders etc

Yes everyone gets a full reset, wipes are typically every 4 ish months but longer on this one.

It seems bad at first, but the more you play the more you understand how easy it is to get back everything so it's not so bad. Wipes keep the game fresh for long term players and are a blank slate for patches.
