buy it, single handedly the biggest adrenaline rush I have ever gotten during a shooter. when you are learning the ropes, you are straight up on the edge of your seat the entire time

Upgrades provide the benefit of large starting stash (that can be gained through game play) large starting secure container (a better one can be earned through gameplay) and extra starting gear and money, but nothing of any real significance. Upgrade to support the game development, not cause you want more stuff, you throw away money if its cause you want things no one else can have.

if you have never played the game before, I honestly would jjust recommend the standard edition. you will probably love it. but at the same time. it is not your average shooter by any means

If Arma 3's Gunplay and movement system were merged with Call of Duty's close quarters battle mentality mixed with Battlefield co-operative squad play. You KINDA get tarkov.

thats cool. I am a new PC gamer as of about a week ago. Built my first PC. So I am not too much of an expert when it comes to the games prior to this. The only one I really knew anything about is Arma.
i will say though. EFT is simple in its premise and concept. but a lot of fun, that risk reward, and steep learning curve, mixed with skill has me happy I took the leap to try it out

@hearty gorge Hunts health system and bodily damage is more forgiving. Weaponry is less volitile (auto mosin being the exception) and throwables less well... throwable. Value of sound in game and map knowledge are just as relevant
Also there is a similar function to the playing with a level 0 hunter when your out of cash. Using the in-game scav character.
