Yet though, if EFT was PvE-featured game (with PvP ofc) it was not a great problem, but in pure-PvP games, yes games, newcomers should be treated well because that's the first - and the last - thing that extends the life of the games. In other, shorter words, no newcomers = dying games.

Than to go "Oh wow I just got 200k" and then proceed to play the raid until the end with no change in your actions because it's free money you already guaranteed

There is no excitement when the most value can be extracted from the most reliable loot

Containers in their current state allow some people guaranteed access to some loot. Remember the Kiba key spawning in the tent? The person with the closest spawn would be able to get there first and put it in their container, locking everybody else from getting it as it was impossible to get to it faster. With the removal of the ability for people to put items in containers, it allows everybody access to loot instead of the people who just spawned closest.
