So I had my MacBook already for like 4 years and I wanted to get back to Windows. I always heard good stuff about Dell in general, especially about the XPS 13 so I thought I'd buy that, and because I wanted it for work/private use I wanted it to last 6 years to I bought the most expensive one for like 2100$.
In the first 3 months the charging unit/cable didn't work anymore, the USB port didn't work anymore and there was a pixel problem. So I asked them to replace the laptop, Dell said: No because you didn't buy it directly at us but in switzerland in a shop you don't have a "contract" with us.
So they sent a technician- he came 1 hour late and then first called "I forgot the right part", so he arrived like 2 hours late. Technician changed the MoBo, charging unit and I/O Board. After he left a few months later I noticed that the fucking SD card driver didn't work, second technician.
Then I saw that the fucker damaged my notebook in 3 different places, and even broke off stuff, to cut it short: in the end 3 different technicians had to come to me and they replaced, I'm not shitting you, the WHOLE laptop but in seperate parts.
Rather than replacing the WHOLE laptop as one they replaced every. single. part. So I have a completly "new" laptop now you could say. But they somehow liked to send 3 diff. technicians and change every single part rather than the whole laptop.
All that over the course of like 6-8 months.
