what search feature would i use to... iv got a (pp-19-01 vityaz gas tube) what search feature to find out exactly which weapons this item would potentially attach to? or does linked and filtered search not work like that

Filtered search searches for that items specifically. Filtered searches for items that attach to it and items that it attaches to. You'd find the Vityaz and Saiga 9 in the searches, but not before seeing all the handguards that go on it.
