The old systems bot broke and they probably cba to fix it

The issue is that most groups don't coordinate through text beforehand, people just pop in to voice channels depending on what map they want
I get the old bot broke, but why not just go back to how it was a while ago, where there's several preset 5 man channels for every map? It was never a problem, and if you wanted to cap the player count, you could just wait until you got 2,3, or 4 people and hop into a duo, trio, etc. channel.

It was a problem, head moderators and admins had to constantly change which map had which channels because we are limited to how many we can have open, we had lots of requests for a bot to be added to automate this, and it would break multiple times per week and unless you want to make the bot yourself, this is the best option left, the lfg text channels are there for you to post your voice channel along with what you are doing, don't just randomly jump around voice channels and potentially interrupt users that could be in the middle of a raid

We can only have so many voice channels, so having to manually micro manage them to meet supply and demand on a regular basis is not workable, it requires admins of the server (users that can add or delete channels - not moderators) to take time out of their day to respond in a timely manner and remove or add them as needed, if you have a better solution, we are open to hearing it, but for right now, you are to use the looking for group section correctly and actually set a status for your map and post in the text channel, your entire issue with the current system can be avoided by simply using the lfg channels correctly.

Was having crashes on arena all wipe as well as potential sometimes on loading into scavs in the base game. But the game keeps crashing, freezing, or becoming unresponsive while loading loot in arena. 1/3 of the times it will actually finish loading without crashing or sending me back to menu with an error. If it asks me to reconnect it keeps failing till I get banned

No it wasn’t, it required constant micromanagement from administrators. Discord only allows us to have a limited number of voice channels, so while it may be more organised, it required someone every day to come in and delete or create new channels to meet the demand of players wanting more rooms for a specific map

The bot also would break every couple of days causing it to not create any new voice channels or allow anyone permissions to change their group size

As I’ve already explained to you, you are not supposed to just open the list and then join a voice channel with people in it, that’s rude and can disrupt other users raids

You are meant to use the text channels to organise your groups

Join a channel, set your status, and then post the link in the text channel to search for users
