Have you checked your server region settings? It probably defaults to auto but just a thought. Mine were set to manual and although it worked, its easier to find a match on auto.. but if I select only the lowest ping available, I never seem to have an issue.... inevitably the game is buggy, and stuff happens but.. best I got.

If you want to guarantee profit, you can always enter the cycle of scavving and offline-PMCing/Practice Mode while your scav is on cooldown. Scavving can only make you money. Practice mode is great for learning maps, learning loot runs, and getting good at killing scavs and scav bosses, and other core mechanics like hipfire. It's literally impossible to lose any money doing this, so it just stacks up while you learn a lot

for pmc people generally just like different maps, I would try them all. lighthouse is cancer tho I would not recommend. woods/shoreline are more long ranged engagements, customs is pretty high octane stuff usually. interchange is really fun but you have to be really careful

factory isn't really a map you run for loot either you do it for quests or just to dick around and get some pvp

no, you'll use random loadout as a skav. you don't loose anything but as soon as u finish the raid you'll have to wait a cooldown, +-30 minutes to use skav again

if you extract, you can use their loots or sell it to make money
