My performance is incredible. I get 100-120 frames constantly. I have no issues with any other games. I've checked the health of my GPU, CPU, motherboard.
Everything is fine, but after EVERY raid or EVERY arena game I get stuck in a 30 second - 4 minute long frozen screen. If I tab out my game crashes. I am now 90 games deep into arena. 200 raids deep into tarkov and still the same issue lol. I've heard about mip streaming but I already had that off previous to this problem starting.
Anyone know any fixes? It's quite annoying &

This is anecdotal and others i believe have had much better performance than me on the same hardware, but running an RTX 3070 I was getting around 40FPS with low settings optimized based on every guide I could find. However, I suspect there was more to do with my low fps than the GPU....a free benchmarking tool for the game would be nice

Your GPU doesn’t really matter. Tarkov likes strong CPUs and fast RAM

I dont know for sure what the CPU was, and although it was a high end laptop at the time of purchase its 2 years old now and Laptops do not age well for gaming

and the CPU wasn't up to the task of running tarky

this new one though....it knows what Tarky wants and how to get that sweet sweet FPS out of it

The best CPU you can buy for Tarkov right now is the AMD 7800X3D. Intel will run the game but X3D chips are currently king.

I have not heard of any compatibility issues with the X3D chips. But you do have to upgrade to AM5 to use them. However, since the AM4 socket will no longer have CPUs made for it that’s not a big deal and you can get an AM5 motherboard for under $200. I don’t know much about Intel CPUs but I do know that they’re not the best CPUs for Tarkov since the X3D chips were released.
