get the 7950x3d / 14900kf & keep the 1070ti, I have a 4080 and you dont get more fps from a better gpu in this game atleast, but either of those CPUs with a high ram speed, meaning XMP profile in the bios with ddr5 at like 6200mhz and youll be blown away at the frames u get & nicer RAM and either of those CPUs in literally like 200 - 300$ more and its beyond worth it, not to mention anything passed the 10 series introduces ray tracing which is not ideal for FPS shooters & will change how you perceive every game

It's got a ways to go but I enjoyed a few hours of it in the time I could clear on two work days. It's a different sort of game, honestly. Similar enough but at least the mode I'm starting with (pve) you'll be spending a lot of time being frightened by the other players moving around you.
It's a persistent server so if you die you respawn at the base and can go get your gear back as long as no other friendlies went to steal your stuff. That part has made pve more fun to me. If you run a shotgun nobody bothers stealing it and you hardly have to ever rekit.

Second note: AI is dumber than the most stunted tarkov bot.

They either have perfect vision on a player I can't even see crawling through a field, or they stand in one spot until they see you, and walk straight inti whatever kill funnel you've set up. Then the others follow gunshots.
It's laughably dumb AI but it's still early enough to be forgived.

That being said I don't even think 2016 Alpha tark was this janky. I hope it gets better with time.

Hearing that EOD players will get unheard perks made my stomach drop like it never has before. It felt like my ball shriveled up and went into my body like in a prey animal that was scared. I was scared, terrified even. The though that these EOD broke bitches can even think to get the same perks as the high and mighty is pathetic. The same thoughts I had are the same thoughts I would have if a black family moved into my gated community. But instead there will be no white flight. To where? Nikita has really gone too far this time. Since 2024, players have bought into the unheard edition at a reasonable and fair price($250). But after EOD players whined and bitched like little children they were soothed the same. Given the exclusive perks like a bottle just to shut them up. As an unheard player I am very deeply distraught that I will have to breath the very same air that these broke bitch EOD players will. You have sullied your reputation, turned your backs on The true believers, and desecrated the very principles we valued. It is reprehensible. This cannot be tolerated.
There was a clear food chain that was put in order by the higher ups at EFT. Unheard players are the hunters.... and EOD players were the hunted. It was as simple as that. Clear as crystal. But EOD players were backed into a corner like a injured rabbit and couldn't accept the laws of nature that Nikita put in place. It's an injustice that must be corrected and the fact that Nikita thinks EOD = Unheard makes me sick to my stomach and everybody that agrees with him is a half-brained loser that takes everything at face value.
