@smoky grotto I swapped my e30 with an s52 and had a kid slam into me and total it mid season. I drove it like 15-20 times max. The e36 M3 is staying forever. I like it way too much and as soon as i throw this s54 in here Ill be happy. I just go back and forth if I want my other car to be something a little more modern. Fair enough, I dislike Chevy for doing the C8 the way they did. Aluminum body, mid engine. Corvettes have historically always been fiberglass bodies, rear wheel drive, front engine and powered by a V8.

@smoky grotto The Z06 or the M3? The M3 is getting an S54 thrown in it so no point in doing anything with the motor and the S54 is going to stay stock aside from a carbon airbox. Any more power in that platform will ruin the fun of the car. The Z06 on the other hand just has heads done to prevent the potential valve drop issue. Full Billy boat exhaust system. Anything past that would mess with its classing in SCCA and put me in a difficult class. I agree, they took away what made the corvette a corvette. Plus the back end looks like a squished Camaro and it seems like a different teams designed the front/mid section/rear of it. The new V8 in them is pretty cool though
