Hello everyone, I am PuffyBreeze and I just joined the Discord Server some minutes ago! I am a beginner in every way to Tarkov, I just got gifted the Edge of Night edition from a friend as a Pre Birthday present (that was like 2 weeks ago) and I've been enjoy the game a lot! I've learned a bit (really really tiny bit) about the game between playing and guides only from different sources like Pestily (Raid Season 3 post-wipe guide), JesseKazam full 2022 Guide, and different matches from different youtubers like 2Lew. I've just started to understand all these concepts of wipe, dlcs, new maps, Arena, and all that kind of stuff. But honestly, even tho some may hate it, I like this "Wipe" thing! It allows us new players to understand the game and then have a shot to get better post Wipe! And that's the main reason I'm here, it seems like I started playing right before a Wipe, since it will be coming soon, most say even this week. So my goal was to start and understand the game more before the wipe, what to aim for, what to try and buy and or get, general knowledge about attachments and all that, maybe finding some people to play with as well, since the friend that gifted me the game isn't really a Gamer himself, he just saw it and it really fits what I like. So my question is: is there somewhere I can learn that kind of stuff, someone I can play with, maybe a clear guide on what is good to do Postwipe?

Oh right that one. Honestly I wouldn't worry too much about what you're bringing. Buy a gun you're fairly comfortable with, load the best ammo you can get for it, and then just take it slow. If your raids have been busy, give it some time before hitting dorms because they can be a Hotspot.

Or just try to get there and get out before anyone else shows up.

I'd recommend something fairly low recoil and full auto if you can get it. Honestly your armor and helmet probably won't matter too much, realistically most people going dorms will have really nice ammo and guns and anything lower than good class 4-5 will just be extra weight
