theres atleast 6 tech spots on inter you dont need a key for so its a pretty good chance you get a few plus toolboxes spawn them

Customs is where you want to start since the bulk of your beginner tasks are there.

they can be really helpful in the beginning to find extracts and other key points on the map

Depends what you're looking for in ammo. FMJ can 1-tap people in the chest who have class 2 armor, but FMJ can get through class 3 but isn't a 1-tap.

Yup! NoFam's ballistics chart is the #1 most useful out-of-game info resource. I highly recommend using it and checking your ammo. The 2 main stats are Damage and Penetration. @dusty tapir

Typically people go for penetration, but it really depends what you intend on doing. I like using SMG's and my tactic is spraying lines at head level, so I don't mind having low pen cheap ammo.
