painkilling is a big thing, specially when loosing limbs or getting fractures, when you take a hit while shooting your gun will flinch up and I dont think painkillers will stop the flinch
i think a lot of people would recommend trying the UMP for a low recoil but still cheap and available for starting players, I personally used AK's all the time when I was still new because I thought it was fun and struggled a lot with recoil but it only hepled me to control the less recoil guns even better in the future, or just keeping rifle's on single fire or using DMR's like sr-25 those will help you control your shots much better

I recommend learning good ammo first over good guns so that way you can choose which avaliable ammo you have for you level (7.62x51 NATO M80 in your case probably) and then use guns with the good ammo you can have, instead of using the best kitted gun with horrible ammo.

If you like shotguns those can be really strong but you gotta know if your ammo has any penetration as you might have to aim for legs and head because armor will stop the weak buckshot

I would recommend magnum buckshot for ultimate HP damage (400 hp damage if all pellets hit, PMC has 440hp in total) but very weak penetration, flechettes are another type of multi-projectile ammo but these are little nails instead of balls so those have armor destruction powers and will be your go-to for multi-projectile ammo...and then for slugs you can use AP-20 which should in theory 1-shot people if you get a thorax shot on them

or makeshift .50 bmg slugs which are funny

flechette has high armor damage %...and now the armor materials and armor durability come into play...since flechette can effectively lower the armor durability it can at the same time lower its effectivenes, which means if you shoot someone multiple times after 2 or 3 shots there will be no armor left to protect your target...depending on the material of the armor it might get destroyed faster, it might last longer

you gotta imagine flechettes are like little nails unlike other buckshot which is just round balls...so the nails will penetrate and shred armor so they gave them armor penetration and armor damage ingame

also with the ap-20 slug you cant miss...with flechette you can just hip fire your entire magazine, run away while reloading and then come back to finish the job

Depends on what you're sniping for.
If its just general sniping, any elevated position with great sightlines is the go to (i know it sounds obvious). Ex: Dome on Reserve, Sniper Hill on woods (massive mountain), Shoreline in general allows for plenty of long range sniping
