PMC is harder. Everyone spawns at the same time so there's a lot more combat, scavs aren't friendly, enemy PMCs have better gear. By the time you get in the game as a scav most PMCs are already out of the game.

Good PMC players get out of the raid before the scavs who go PMC hunting for loot get in. So as a player scav you are either killing other player scavs with scav gear, or PMCs who are playing carefully and slow.

There are specific loot runs that can make over 1m rubles a run. Look up loot runs on YouTube and see if any catch your fancy, or go into offline and make your own

9x19mm for instance absolutely shreds people with no armor, but if they have anything you can waste upwards of 40 ammo and do very little damage.

I had an SV-98 from a scav that had an MOA of 1.17. Very good for a scav gun.

But a bad durability mosin at like 50% can have 5.7 MOA or something like that if I recall.

they did change recoil quite a bit and you might be looking at older clips

9mm vector is much more controllable I've heard, but .45 is probably good with the right setup.
