Begin focusing on the hideout upgrades and quest items you need right now. Trying, as a beginner, to hold onto everything you'll eventually need is almost impossible; so just sell everything you don't need right now, for your next set of hideout upgrades or your current quest. You'll run into lots of things you've sold and now need to find again, but that's pretty much the best way to learn what to prioritize what you'll need to look for in future wipes. Focus on quests, finding items for your next set of hideout upgrades, and learning the maps. Practice killing scavs and learning routes in offline mode if you want to minimize risk. Scav frequently, as they can only make you money. Watch videos for new players, channels like NoiceGuy and Pestily are great for newer players and they have playlists filled with info.

Well you are using an offset long range scope at pretty close range so yeah kinda your fault. That's why the shots hit left of your reticle
You have to account for that, and the ammo you use, as well as your zero
Besides the scope offset, not much came into play there.

No, you just need to anticipate that an offset sight needs to aim slightly left up close and slightly right up far. Unless it is a parallel sight, in which case its like shooting a long range laser, its off by a couple inches to the left every time. IDK with this sight.

Yeah, tarkov guns are very in depth. My favorite moment I've had so far is a misfire on an open-bolt smg. I reloaded and didn't need to clear malfunction. Why? Because open bolt reloading would remove the misfired round.

Well on an open bolt that is true to life. If it does it for closed bolts then I guess I was just lucky getting it on an open bolt and attributed it to realism.
Well I looked it up and UMP is actually closed bolt, very unusual considering its predecessors.
Though the MP5 is closed bolt too so I guess not too unusual.
