it depends, if youre buying it from skier it can be pricey and good ammo is kinda hard to get early on but if it works for you it works

with smgs you can leg meta

but with an adar you and slow rate of fire youre gonna have to aim for the head and pray

Get prapor lv 2 asap then use recoil pad from him, bastion and muzzle device from skier, wooden handguard/foregrip from peacekeeper. That can make most any AK usable

The ammo is likely the issue, M855 struggles with good armor and its very possible for someone to have survived 14 rounds of it with good armor. I would suggest looking at the ballistics chart on the wiki to see what ammo should work

yeah i'm doing okay with 16 on a single stick myself at the moment (slot 2 or the other 16 gig stick is giving me BSODs lately). i do seem to remember it feeling a bit faster with all 32 gigs, but it's still good. ram speed / spreading it out over 2-4 slots might be more helpful than pure giggage past 16

I would actually suggest woods. Sure it's more difficult to learn but:

1. It's the biggest map in the game - that means if you go to non-contested areas, chances of meeting other PMCs are close to nil

2. There are actually some early quests in there. Unlocking Jaegar first is also a good idea

3. There's plenty of provisions and ammo lying around here. Plenty enough for a new player
