oh and damaged scav weapons under 60 durability have to be sold to fence, but you can take all the parts off first and sell those to mechanic

There's a checkbox called "enable PvE" (stands for Player vs Environment, as opposed to PvP), you can also adjust the number of scavs and how hard their ai will be. There's a separe option to turn on scav bosses, but if you just starting with the map I would keep that off for now.

there are three main milestones in your tarkov career:

• unlocking flea market (now lvl 20)
• upgrading hideout and gaining access to btc farm and booze generator
• unlocking traders (now lvl 42)

2nd gives you a steady flow of free money while 3rd makes everything cheap to buy. both requires you to go beyond level 20.
